We are Hiring: Foster Care Specialist

Job Description

As a Foster Care Specialist at Agape Manor Home, you will play a vital role in our mission to place children in loving and supportive foster homes. You will work closely with families, children, and partner agencies to ensure the well-being and safety of each child in our care.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and support foster families
• Assess and approve potential foster parents
• Provide ongoing support and supervision to foster families
• Coordinate services and resources for children in care
• Collaborate with case managers, social workers, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Participate in team meetings and trainings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
• Experience working in child welfare or foster care
• Knowledge of child development and trauma-informed care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must pass background checks and screenings
