We are currently hiring for the following position:

Freight Forwarding Specialist:

As a Freight Forwarding Specialist at ASAP Freight Systems, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the movement of goods from one place to another, ensuring that shipments reach their final destination on time and within budget. Your role will involve working closely with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to streamline the transportation process and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate international freight shipments
• Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers
• Prepare and process shipping documentation
• Track and monitor the status of shipments
• Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportation
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office
• Valid driver’s license
