Job Description
As a Funeral Director at McDuffie’s Mortuary Inc, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing funeral services for our clients. Your role will involve meeting with families to make arrangements, coordinating with clergy and cemetery staff, and overseeing the overall logistics of the funeral service.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with families to discuss funeral arrangements and preferences
- Coordinate with clergy, cemetery staff, and other service providers
- Organize and oversee visitations, funeral services, and burials
- Handle paperwork and legal requirements related to the funeral process
- Provide emotional support and guidance to grieving families
Qualifications
- Valid funeral director’s license
- Previous experience in the funeral industry preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
