Job Description:

We are currently seeking a licensed Optometrist to join our team at Dr. Stephen A Ditta, OD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses as needed. Additionally, the Optometrist will be responsible for conducting visual training therapy for patients with visual impairments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess vision and eye health
• Diagnose and treat eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids
• Provide visual training therapy for patients with visual impairments
• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and preventive measures
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid state license to practice optometry
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
