Job Description
As a dentist at Chet B. Hawkins, DDS, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide comprehensive dental care. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of dental conditions, as well as educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. In addition, you will collaborate with our team of dental professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental examinations and cleanings
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Create treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on the importance of good oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Active state dental license
- Board certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong clinical skills
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
