Position: Electric Equipment Repair & Service Technician

Job Description

As an Electric Equipment Repair & Service Technician at Ips Houston, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electric generators, electric motors, and other types of electric equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting diagnostics to identify issues with electric equipment
• Performing repairs and maintenance on electric generators, electric motors, and other equipment
• Testing equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Providing recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements
• Documenting all work performed and maintaining accurate records
• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• At least 2 years of experience in electric equipment repair and service
• Strong knowledge of electric generators, electric motors, and other electric equipment
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
