Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as the Associate Pastor of Discipleship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ministry, a deep understanding of the Bible, and a commitment to leading and equipping others in their walk with Christ.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a discipleship strategy to help members grow in their faith
• Leading small groups and Bible studies to foster community and spiritual growth
• Mentoring and training volunteers to serve in various ministry areas
• Providing pastoral care and counseling to individuals and families
• Collaborating with the senior pastor and other staff to support the overall ministry of the church

Qualifications:

• A graduate degree from an accredited seminary or theological institution
• Ordained or eligible for ordination in the Southern Baptist Convention
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pastoral ministry or discipleship leadership
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
