Position: Line Cook

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook at Tony’s Barbecue & Steakhouse, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including our signature BBQ platters and steak entrees. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and marinating proteins
• Cook dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications
• Ensure food is cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant setting
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
