Job Openings

At J & M Mulch Yard, we are currently hiring for the following positions:

– Mulch Sales Associate
– Landscape Designer
– Landscape Contractor

Mulch Sales Associate

As a Mulch Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the perfect mulch for their landscaping needs. You will provide guidance on the different types of mulches we offer, explain the benefits of each, and help customers make informed decisions. In addition, you will be responsible for processing sales transactions, maintaining inventory levels, and keeping the store organized and clean.

Qualifications:

– Must have excellent customer service skills
– Previous experience in retail sales is a plus
– Knowledge of different types of mulches and their uses
– Ability to lift and carry bags of mulch weighing up to 50 pounds

Landscape Designer

As a Landscape Designer, you will work closely with our clients to create custom outdoor living spaces that meet their unique needs and preferences. You will use your creativity and expertise to design landscapes that are aesthetically pleasing, sustainable, and functional. In addition, you will coordinate with our team of contractors to ensure that the design is implemented accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

– Degree in Landscape Design or related field
– Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
– Knowledge of plants, hardscaping materials, and construction techniques
– Strong communication and organizational skills

Landscape Contractor

As a Landscape Contractor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and installation of outdoor projects designed by our Landscape Designers. You will work closely with clients, designers, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. In addition, you will be responsible for managing a team of workers, ordering materials, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality.

Qualifications:

– Previous experience in landscaping or construction
– Knowledge of plant material, irrigation systems, and hardscaping techniques
– Strong leadership and project management skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
