Position: Infertility Counselor

Fertility Resources of Houston is a leading fertility clinic dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of infertility and achieve their dream of starting a family. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Infertility Counselor to join our team and provide support to our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to patients experiencing infertility
• Assess the emotional and psychological needs of patients undergoing fertility treatments
• Create customized counseling plans to address each patient’s unique situation
• Collaborate with our team of fertility specialists to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
• Offer guidance and support to patients throughout their fertility journey, including during treatment cycles and pregnancy
• Educate patients on coping strategies and stress management techniques
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Stay current on advancements in infertility counseling and treatment

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Experience working with individuals or couples struggling with infertility
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to counseling
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced clinic environment
