Position Available: Agricultural Seeding & Spraying Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Seeding & Spraying Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining seeding and spraying equipment to ensure the effective application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides on crops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing soil analysis to determine the appropriate fertilizers and chemicals needed for optimal crop growth
- Operating seeding and spraying equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Applying fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides according to established guidelines and regulations
- Maintaining accurate records of all seeding and spraying activities
- Monitoring crop health and providing recommendations for improvements
- Collaborating with agronomists and other team members to implement crop management strategies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in agricultural seeding and spraying
- Knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides
- Ability to operate and maintain seeding and spraying equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
