Wellness Counseling Center of Texas is a well-established mental health facility in the heart of Texas, dedicated to providing high-quality counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. We are currently seeking a licensed counselor to join our team and help us in our mission to promote mental wellness in the community.

Job Title: Licensed Counselor

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to clients experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards
• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance counseling skills
• Contribute to the development and implementation of wellness programs and workshops

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling or Psychology
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Passion for promoting mental health and wellness
