If so, we want to hear from you! Elgin Car Care Center is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team in the following positions:

Auto Repair & Service Technician

As an Auto Repair & Service Technician at Elgin Car Care Center, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive issues. You will work on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs, using the latest tools and equipment to ensure that each repair is done efficiently and correctly. Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:

– Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
– Diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, and electrical problems
– Conducting thorough vehicle inspections to identify any potential issues
– Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with customers about their vehicle’s needs

To be successful in this role, you should have:

– At least 2 years of experience working as an automotive technician
– A strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
– Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
– ASE certification is a plus but not required

Brake Repair Specialist

Are you an expert in brake repair looking for a new challenge? Elgin Car Care Center is seeking a Brake Repair Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing brake systems on a variety of vehicles. Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:

– Inspecting brake pads, rotors, calipers, and other components to identify wear and damage
– Performing brake fluid flushes and replacing worn parts as needed
– Testing the braking system to ensure proper function and safety
– Providing estimates to customers and explaining recommended repairs

To be successful in this role, you should have:

– Proven experience in brake repair and maintenance
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
– ASE certification in Brakes is preferred
