Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing chairside assistance to dentists, performing sterilization and disinfection procedures, and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. In addition, the Dental Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the overall success of the dental clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring instruments and equipment are sterilized
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records
• Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
• Experience working in a dental clinic is preferred
