Are you passionate about Middle Eastern cuisine and providing exceptional service to customers? Abu Omar Halal is currently looking for talented individuals to join our team. We have opportunities available in various roles, including:

• Line Cooks
• Server
• Host/Hostess
• Food Prep

Job Responsibilities

Line Cooks

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the restaurant’s recipes and standards
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized at all times
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Server

• Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with menu selections
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly
• Ensure guests have a memorable dining experience

Host/Hostess

• Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service

Food Prep

• Prepare ingredients for menu items according to recipes and portion sizes
• Assist with stocking and organizing inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn. Specific qualifications for each position include:

Line Cooks

• Prior experience working in a professional kitchen
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure

Server

• Previous serving experience in a restaurant setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of menu items and ability to make recommendations

Host/Hostess

• Strong customer service skills
• Experience in a front-of-house position preferred
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment

Food Prep

• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Ability to follow recipes accurately
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
