Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: New York City, NY

Job Description

American Injury Clinic is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team of experienced physical therapists to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Educate patients on exercises and techniques for rehabilitation
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Document patient care and progress accurately

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of New York
• CPR certification
• Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
