Child Care Teacher Position Available
Bunker Hill KinderCare is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team of early childhood education professionals. We are a well-established daycare facility located in Bunker Hill, offering high-quality care and educational services for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment
- Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and development
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
