Job Title: Wine Specialist

Spec’s Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods is a premier retailer of wines, spirits, and gourmet foods with over 100 locations across Texas. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the best selection of products and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Wine Specialist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with wine selection, recommendations, and food pairings
• Educate customers on different wine regions, varietals, and producers
• Maintain a clean and organized wine department
• Stock shelves and manage inventory
• Participate in staff training and tastings to expand wine knowledge
• Assist with special events, tastings, and promotions

Qualifications:

• Passion for wine and a desire to learn and grow in the industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Wine certifications such as WSET or CMS are a plus
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Must be at least 21 years of age
