We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Position: Automotive Service Technician

Job Description:

As an Automotive Service Technician at Sonic Express Autocare, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of mechanical issues on various makes and models of vehicles. Your primary duties will include:

• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, and electrical system problems
• Performing thorough vehicle inspections and providing accurate estimates to customers
• Communicating effectively with customers to explain necessary repairs and ensure satisfaction
• Keeping up-to-date with latest automotive technology and repair techniques

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a formal automotive training program or apprenticeship
• ASE certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
