We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Religious Education Coordinator

Job Description: As the Religious Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our religious education program for children and youth. This includes developing curriculum, recruiting and training teachers, organizing sacramental preparation classes, and coordinating special events and activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive religious education program for children and youth
• Recruit, train, and support volunteer teachers and catechists
• Coordinate sacramental preparation classes for First Communion, Confirmation, and Reconciliation
• Organize special events and activities, such as retreats, service projects, and family nights
• Collaborate with other parish ministries and staff to promote spiritual growth and community involvement
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to religious education programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies, Education, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Catholic teachings and traditions
• Experience working with children and youth in a religious education setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
