Position: Loan Officer

As a Loan Officer at Southwest Funding, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, evaluating their financial situation, and recommending the best loan products for their needs. You will work closely with borrowers, real estate agents, and underwriters to ensure a smooth and successful closing process.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate loan applications and determine eligibility
• Provide excellent customer service to borrowers throughout the loan process
• Understand and stay up-to-date on loan products and industry regulations
• Collaborate with real estate agents and underwriters to expedite the closing process
• Attend networking events to generate leads and build relationships in the community

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry
• Strong understanding of loan products, regulations, and underwriting guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Active NMLS license
