Position: Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Description

As a Mortgage Loan Officer at Cornerstone Home Lending Inc, you will be responsible for originating and closing residential mortgage loans. You will work closely with borrowers to guide them through the loan process, provide them with financing options, and ensure that they are able to secure the best possible loan for their needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and documentation by verifying credit worthiness
• Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
• Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans
• Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer
• Knowledge of real estate, financial services, and mortgages
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Must have an active NMLS license
