Position: Waste Management Technician

As a Waste Management Technician at Eastex Trash Service, you will be responsible for collecting and disposing of residential and commercial waste in a safe and efficient manner. You will operate our garbage trucks and other equipment to ensure that trash is removed and properly disposed of according to company and environmental regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collecting trash from designated routes on a daily basis
• Operating garbage trucks and equipment to pick up and transport waste
• Following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Sorting and separating recyclable materials from regular waste
• Ensuring that trash is disposed of in compliance with environmental regulations
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Experience in waste management or related field is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
