Job Opening: Director of Youth Ministry

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as the Director of Youth Ministry. This position plays a crucial role in the spiritual development and growth of the young members of our community. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Christian teachings, a heart for youth outreach, and excellent leadership skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program for students in middle and high school
• Plan and organize engaging and interactive youth events, retreats, and activities
• Provide pastoral care and support to youth members in times of need or crisis
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer youth leaders
• Collaborate with other church staff to integrate youth ministry into the overall church community
• Build relationships with parents and families to support the spiritual growth of youth members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Christian ministry, counseling, or a related field
• Previous experience working with youth in a church or community setting
• Strong understanding of Church of Christ beliefs and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and mentor youth in their faith journey
• Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young people
