About Us:

Original Timmy Chan Restaurant is a well-established Chinese restaurant located in the heart of Houston, Texas. We take great pride in serving delicious Chinese and Asian cuisine to our loyal customers who have been coming to us for years. Our restaurant is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and excellent customer service. We are currently looking to expand our team and are seeking passionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences.

We are Hiring for the Following Positions:

• Line Cook
• Waiter/Waitress
• Host/Hostess
• Food Runner
• Dishwasher

Job Responsibilities:

Line Cook:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables and marinating meats
• Cook and plate dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Waiter/Waitress:

• Greet customers and take their orders
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
• Answer customer questions about menu items
• Ensure customer satisfaction with their meal

Host/Hostess:

• Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Seat guests and manage the seating chart
• Answer phone calls and take reservations
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area

Food Runner:

• Deliver food from the kitchen to the appropriate table in a timely manner
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of food
• Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests

Dishwasher:

• Wash dishes, pots, and pans using the restaurant’s dishwashing equipment
• Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation when needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a restaurant setting preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
