Job Description

At Nurturing Home Healthcare Agency, we are currently seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing assistance with personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your role will play a crucial part in improving the quality of life for those in our care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medication reminders and ensure clients take their prescribed medications
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
• Previous experience in home healthcare or a related field is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards the elderly and individuals with disabilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
