Job Title: Real Estate Inspector

Job Description:

As a Real Estate Inspector at Houston Jacob Home Inspection, you will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections of residential properties to assess their condition and identify any potential issues. Your primary duties will include:

– Performing visual inspections of properties, inside and out
– Checking for signs of damage, wear and tear, and maintenance issues
– Testing and evaluating the condition of key systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and roofing
– Documenting findings in thorough inspection reports for clients
– Communicating findings with clients in a clear and professional manner
– Providing recommendations for repairs and maintenance as needed

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

– Certified Home Inspector or equivalent certification
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential property inspections
– Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
– Excellent attention to detail and observational skills
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
