We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team:

Position: Youth Minister

Location: Houston, TX

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program for middle and high school students.
– Plan and lead weekly youth group meetings, retreats, and special events.
– Provide spiritual guidance and counseling to youth members.
– Collaborate with other ministry leaders to integrate youth into the larger church community.
– Recruit and train volunteers to assist with youth programs.
– Build relationships with youth and their families to promote a sense of belonging and support within the church.
– Stay current on trends and issues affecting youth to address their needs effectively.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Christian ministry, theology, or a related field.
– 3+ years of experience working in youth ministry.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficient in planning and organizing youth events.
– Passion for working with young people and helping them grow in their faith.
– Ability to collaborate with other ministry team members.
– Commitment to living out Christian values and principles.
