Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment, and fostering a positive and engaging learning atmosphere for young children. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Goddard School curriculum
  • Provide a safe and nurturing classroom environment for children
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Assess children’s development and communicate progress to parents
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Texas Teacher Certification (preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
