Position: Youth Pastor

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and guide our youth ministry program. You will work closely with our youth members, encouraging them in their faith journey and providing opportunities for spiritual growth. The Youth Pastor will also collaborate with other church staff members to coordinate events, activities, and outreach efforts for the youth group.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program that includes weekly gatherings, retreats, mission trips, and special events
– Build relationships with youth members and provide mentorship and support
– Teach and lead engaging Bible studies and discussions
– Recruit and train volunteers to assist with youth ministry activities
– Actively participate in church leadership meetings and planning sessions
– Serve as a positive role model for youth members, demonstrating a strong commitment to Christ-like living

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry, Theology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
– Previous experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting
– Strong knowledge of Baptist beliefs and practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
– Passion for youth ministry and discipleship
