Job Title: Optometrist-OD-Therapy & Visual Training
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams, including vision tests and visual acuity measurements
- Diagnose and treat eye conditions, such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed
- Provide therapy and visual training to patients with vision-related issues
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye exams
- Collaborate with other eye care professionals, such as ophthalmologists and opticians, to deliver comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in optometry and visual training techniques
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Current state license to practice optometry
- Experience in therapy and visual training preferred
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
