Position Available: Line Cook

As a Line Cook at Taqueria del Sol, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Mexican dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with our team of talented chefs to ensure that every dish that leaves our kitchen meets our high standards of quality and flavor. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for cooking, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to coordinate cooking times for multiple orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a line cook in a busy kitchen
• Knowledge of Mexican cuisine is a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Food handler’s certification is preferred
