About Us

The Goose’s Acre is a popular Irish restaurant, bar, and brew pub located in The Woodlands, Texas. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with an authentic Irish experience, from our hearty dishes to our selection of Irish beers and whiskies. Our cozy yet vibrant atmosphere makes us a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike.

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team in the following roles:

1. Server

As a server at The Goose’s Acre, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. Your primary duties will include taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. We are looking for individuals who are friendly, attentive, and have a passion for delivering top-notch service.

2. Bartender

Our bartenders play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and lively atmosphere at The Goose’s Acre. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of drinks, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. We are looking for experienced bartenders who are knowledgeable about different types of alcohol, can craft delicious cocktails, and have excellent communication skills.

3. Line Cook

As a line cook at The Goose’s Acre, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking our delicious Irish-inspired dishes. You will work closely with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared to high-quality standards and served in a timely manner. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for cooking, are able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

4. Dishwasher

Our dishwashers play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. In this role, you will be responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as keeping the dishwashing area clean and organized. We are looking for individuals who are efficient, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, dedicated to providing excellent customer service, and are able to work effectively in a team environment. Specific requirements for each role include:

Server:

• Prior serving experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Bartender:

• Prior bartending experience required
• Knowledge of different types of alcohol and cocktails
• TAM/TABC certification preferred

Line Cook:

• Prior cooking experience in a restaurant setting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Dishwasher:

• No experience required, training will be provided
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
