We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team at A Dog’s Dream – The Pet Salon. If you love working with animals and are dedicated to providing exceptional care, we want to hear from you!

Position: Grooming Assistant

As a grooming assistant, you will work alongside experienced groomers to provide grooming services to our canine and feline clients. Your responsibilities will include bathing, drying, brushing, and trimming pets according to breed standards or customer preferences. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Bathe and dry pets using appropriate grooming techniques
• Brush and comb out mats and tangles
• Trim nails and clean ears
• Assist in expressing anal glands
• Maintain a safe and clean work area

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with animals preferred
• Ability to lift and restrain animals of various sizes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Passion for working with animals

Position: Doggy Day Care Attendant

As a doggy day care attendant, you will be responsible for supervising and interacting with dogs in our daycare facility. Your duties will include monitoring playtime, feeding, and providing general care to ensure the well-being of all our furry guests.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime
• Monitor behavior and ensure a safe environment for all dogs
• Feed and provide water to dogs as needed
• Clean and sanitize daycare areas
• Administer medications or follow special care instructions as directed

Requirements:

• Experience working with dogs in a daycare or similar setting
• Knowledge of dog behavior and body language
• Ability to handle and restrain dogs of all sizes
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• Passion for caring for animals

Position: Pet Store Associate

As a pet store associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their pet supply needs, restocking inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store. You will also have the opportunity to provide product recommendations and share your knowledge of pet care with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in finding the right products for their pets
• Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Keep store clean and organized at all times
• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge

Requirements:

• Previous retail experience preferred
• Knowledge of pet care products and supplies
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for working with pets and their owners
