About Us

Dog’s Day Inn Pet Resort is a premier pet care facility located in the heart of Houston, Texas. We offer a wide range of services including dog training, pet boarding, kennels, grooming, and much more. Our mission is to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for pets while their owners are away.

Position: Dog Trainer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced dog trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dogs and a strong background in training. Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing training programs for dogs of all ages and breeds
• Working one-on-one with pet owners to address behavioral issues
• Leading group training sessions
• Monitoring and evaluating progress of training programs

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dog training
• Certification in dog training preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient and compassionate with animals
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Position: Pet Care Specialist

We are also looking for dedicated pet care specialists to join our team. Responsibilities include:

• Providing food, water, and medication to pets
• Walking dogs and engaging in playtime activities
• Cleaning and maintaining kennels and play areas
• Monitoring the health and well-being of all pets in our care

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with animals preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Position: Groomer

We are seeking an experienced groomer to join our team. Responsibilities include:

• Bathing, brushing, and styling pets according to owner preferences
• Trimming nails and cleaning ears
• Checking for signs of illness or injury
• Providing exceptional customer service

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a pet groomer
• Knowledge of different grooming styles and techniques
• Ability to work with a variety of dog breeds and coat types
• Excellent customer service skills
