About Us:

Himalaya Restaurant & Catering is a family-owned business that has been serving delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in the heart of the city for over 20 years. We take pride in providing our customers with exceptional service and authentic dishes made from fresh, high-quality ingredients. Our team is committed to creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience for every guest that walks through our doors.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

1. Line Cook:

• Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with company standards
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized at all times
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
• Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation

2. Server:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
• Take food and drink orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
• Ensure all orders are served in a timely manner
• Answer any questions guests may have about the menu

3. Catering Assistant:

• Assist with the preparation and execution of catering events
• Coordinate with the catering team to ensure all orders are accurate and delivered on time
• Set up and break down catering events as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to all catering clients

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the food and hospitality industry and who share our commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience in a restaurant or catering environment (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
