Job Title: Pet Care Specialist

Job Description

As a Pet Care Specialist at Barks 5th Avenue, you will play a crucial role in providing a positive experience for our canine clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising dogs in our Dog Day Care facility
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all animals under your care
• Feeding, walking, and engaging with dogs to keep them happy and healthy
• Assisting with Pet Boarding & Kennels, including cleaning and maintaining pet living areas
• Assisting with Pet Training sessions under the guidance of our experienced trainers

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch care. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Prior experience working with dogs in a professional setting
• Knowledge of dog behavior and body language
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors
• Excellent communication skills with both colleagues and clients
• Physical ability to handle large breeds and lift up to 50 pounds
