Position Available: Antique and Furniture Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at Gens Antiques, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the perfect antique or furniture piece to suit their individual style and needs. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions about our products, offering styling advice, and processing sales transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in finding and selecting antique and furniture items
• Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with clients
• Keep store displays organized and visually appealing
• Learn about the history and authenticity of each piece to educate customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise

Qualifications:

• Passion for antiques, vintage furniture, and interior design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior retail sales experience is preferred
• Knowledge of art history or antique appraisal is a plus
