If so, we invite you to join our team at Resurrection Lutheran Church. We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Position: Youth Ministry Coordinator

As the Youth Ministry Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work with the youth of our congregation, helping them grow in their faith and develop relationships with one another. This position is crucial to the overall mission of our church, as we believe that investing in our youth is essential to building a strong and vibrant community of believers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate youth group activities, including weekly meetings, retreats, and service projects
• Develop and deliver engaging and relevant lessons that help youth understand and apply biblical principles to their lives
• Build relationships with youth and provide pastoral care and support as needed
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with youth ministry programs
• Collaborate with other church staff and leaders to integrate youth into the broader life of the congregation

Qualifications:

• A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to living out that faith in all areas of life
• Prior experience working with youth in a church or similar setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A bachelor’s degree in theology, youth ministry, or a related field is preferred
