Job Title: Petroleum Engineer

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Description

As a Petroleum Engineer at ENPPI USA, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to improve oil and gas extraction processes. You will work on a variety of projects, from reservoir modeling to drilling optimization, to ensure the efficient and effective production of petroleum resources. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maximizing the productivity and profitability of our clients’ operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct reservoir simulations to evaluate reservoir performance and optimize production
  • Design well completions and propose strategies to enhance production rates
  • Analyze drilling data and identify opportunities for improvement in drilling operations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions for challenging projects
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and field personnel
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovations to continuously improve processes and methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in petroleum engineering roles
  • Proficiency in reservoir engineering software such as Petrel and Eclipse
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
