Position Available: Religious Education Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive religious education curriculum for children and youth
• Coordinate sacramental preparation programs for First Communion and Confirmation
• Recruit, train, and support a team of volunteer catechists
• Plan and oversee special events, retreats, and service projects for children and families
• Collaborate with the pastor and parish staff to ensure the integration of religious education with other ministries
• Provide pastoral care and support to students and their families

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, religious education, or a related field
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with children and youth in a religious education setting
• Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers and parish staff
• Knowledge of Catholic teachings and traditions
