Job Title: Associate Pastor

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Pastor to join our ministry team. The Associate Pastor will work closely with the Senior Pastor to provide spiritual guidance, support, and leadership to our congregation. Responsibilities of the role include:

• Assisting with worship services, including preaching and leading prayers
• Providing pastoral care and counseling to members of the church community
• Leading and organizing various church programs and events
• Working with other staff members to support the overall mission and vision of the church
• Participating in community outreach and service projects

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master of Divinity degree from an accredited theological seminary
• Ordination in the Methodist Church or willingness to become ordained
• Pastoral experience in a church setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to social justice and community engagement
