Position: Emergency Department Nurse

As an Emergency Department Nurse at HCA Health, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in our emergency care facilities. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with a wide range of medical emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing and triaging patients upon arrival to the emergency department
• Working closely with physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatment
• Providing education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency care setting
• ACLS and PALS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Position: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

As an Emergency Medical Technician at HCA Health, you will be responsible for providing pre-hospital emergency medical care to patients in need of urgent medical attention. You will work closely with paramedics and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of timely and effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responding to emergency calls and providing basic life support measures
• Assessing and stabilizing patients at the scene of an emergency
• Assisting with the transportation of patients to medical facilities
• Documenting patient care and treatment provided
• Maintaining equipment and supplies in accordance with established protocols

Qualifications:

• Active EMT certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an EMT
• CPR certification
• Excellent driving record
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
