We are currently hiring for the following position:

Job Title: Scrap Metal Buyer

Job Description:

As a Scrap Metal Buyer at I Buy Surplus, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing scrap metals from various suppliers. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure the timely and efficient processing of all incoming scrap metals.

Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase scrap metals from suppliers
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely processing of scrap metals
• Monitor market trends and pricing to stay competitive

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the scrap metals industry preferred
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of scrap metal grades and pricing
