Job Description

As a Credit & Debt Counseling Specialist at Creditology, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the process of debt management, credit repair, and financial education. By analyzing their financial situation, developing personalized plans, and providing ongoing support, you will help clients achieve their financial goals and regain control of their finances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to identify clients’ financial strengths and challenges
  • Create customized debt management plans that address clients’ specific needs and financial goals
  • Negotiate with creditors to lower interest rates, eliminate fees, and establish manageable payment plans
  • Provide ongoing education and support to help clients improve their financial literacy and make informed decisions
  • Monitor clients’ progress and make adjustments to their plans as needed to ensure long-term success

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Certification in credit counseling or debt management (e.g., NFCC, AFCPE) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit and debt counseling
  • Strong understanding of credit reports, credit scoring, and debt management strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
