Position: Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our emergency room team. As a Registered Nurse at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital Emergency Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans, and ensure that all patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and monitoring patient condition
• Administering medications and treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Educating patients and their families about their care
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency room setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Position: Emergency Medical Technician

We are also looking to hire Emergency Medical Technicians to assist in providing emergency medical care to our patients. As an EMT at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital Emergency Room, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical assistance to patients at the scene, and transporting patients to the hospital for further treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Responding to emergency calls
• Assessing patient condition and providing necessary medical assistance
• Transporting patients to the hospital safely and efficiently
• Documenting patient information and care provided
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals

Qualifications:

• Active EMT certification in the state of Texas
• CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an EMT
• Good physical condition and ability to lift and carry patients
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
