We are Hiring: Health Educator
Job Description
Teen Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and passionate Health Educator to join our team. The Health Educator will be responsible for providing educational resources and support to teenagers on various health topics, including reproductive health, nutrition, mental health, and wellness. The ideal candidate will have a background in health education, counseling, or related fields, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver educational programs and workshops on health topics relevant to teenagers
- Provide one-on-one counseling and support to teens seeking information on reproductive health, mental health, nutrition, and wellness
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to teen health and well-being
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions with teens
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Counseling, Public Health, or related field
- Experience working with teenagers in a healthcare or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of current health education principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for promoting teen health and well-being
