We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team in the following role:

Position: Youth Pastor

Location: Mumbai, India

Job Description:

As a Youth Pastor at the Marthoma Church of India, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the spiritual growth and development of our youth ministry. This includes planning and organizing weekly youth group meetings, coordinating special events and retreats, and providing mentorship and support to young people in our congregation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program that nurtures the faith of our young members
• Lead engaging and relevant youth group meetings that promote spiritual growth and community building
• Organize and oversee special events, retreats, and service projects for the youth ministry
• Provide pastoral care and support to young people facing challenges or seeking guidance
• Collaborate with church leadership and other ministry teams to integrate youth ministry into the overall mission of the church

Qualifications:

• A deep commitment to your own faith and a passion for sharing the love of Christ with young people
• Prior experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan and organize events and programs effectively
• A bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (preferred but not required)
