Job Description:

As a Dog Trainer at Customized Dog Training, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one training sessions for dogs and their owners. Your primary goal will be to help improve behavior, obedience, and socialization skills in a positive and supportive manner. You will work closely with each dog to develop a customized training plan that meets their specific needs and goals. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to owners on how to maintain the training at home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one training sessions with dogs and their owners
• Create customized training plans based on each dog’s behavior and needs
• Teach basic obedience commands and address behavioral issues
• Provide guidance and support to owners on how to reinforce training at home
• Maintain accurate records of each dog’s progress and behavior
• Stay up-to-date on the latest training techniques and methodologies

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in dog training or animal behavior
• Knowledge of positive reinforcement training techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, compassionate, and attentive to dogs’ needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certification in dog training is a plus
