Job Description:

As a Mortgage Loan Officer at Halifax Property Group, you will play a key role in assisting clients with their mortgage needs. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, evaluating their financial situation, and recommending the best mortgage products to suit their needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping people achieve their homeownership dreams.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate clients’ financial eligibility for mortgage loans
• Assist clients with completing loan applications
• Provide guidance on mortgage products and interest rates
• Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders on behalf of clients
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date on current market trends and regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, lenders, and real estate agents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
• Previous experience in mortgage lending or financial services industry
• Strong understanding of mortgage products and loan procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and mortgage software programs
